Wow, where does time fly to? Here is the end of October already. We are still in Convent, LA, and the mesquitos are still just as bad :). The halloween season is quickly approaching and Kaden is getting more excited. We bought three pumpkins and carved them. Kaden thought that was pretty neat, but wouldn't get her hands dirty cleaning them out. She told me it was too nasty!
And Here is the Final Products...
This is Kaden's Pumpkin she carved
From L to R: Melody's, Kadens, & Chris' pumpkin
Kaden thought carving pumpkins was pretty neat, we try to do it every year. We might be the only ones' in the rv park that do it, but Hey! What can I say..
The next day we had planned on going to Baton Rouge Zoo to "Boo at the Zoo". Becuase we travel, we find it hard to find the right place to take Kaden trick'or'treating. We feel this is a safer alternative than knocking on doors. Kaden got all dressed up and make up on and we drove to Baton Rouge (About an hour from here)
(She is a Barbie Three Muskateer!!)
Well, we were a mile from the zoo, and cars were completely lined up. It took us 45 minutes to go one mile. We decided that it was going to be very hectic and packed and we wouldn't be able to enjoy it. So, Kaden told us we could take her to Chucke cheese to make up for it. She had a blast there. Then we went to Bass Pro Shop where it was family day and she got to make a leather lady bug key chain, paint a pumpkin, and get a lady bug drawn on her face. She also got to sit on a boat and a pontoon boat. She was ready to go:) After that we went to her favorite store in the world, no not the toy store, the pet store. She loves to look at kitties.. She was happy with the way that the day went, I think Chris and I also had fun at Chuck-e-Cheese.. Still a little kid in us :)
I Plan on posting new pictures after we go Trick-or-treating and hopefully move to a new location. We will be about 20-30 minutes from New Orleans next. ~God Bless~
I love these blogs, lol Kaden is too cute!
